One Day Training for Committee Members at Adenso D/A Basic School

4-H Ghana with the assistance of Farmers Abroad Canada is implementing a Sustainable School Feeding Model Program for two (2) schools in Upper Manya Krobo District in Eastern Region of Ghana.

With the view to enhancing the skills of committee members put in place to oversee the program at the Adensu D/A Basic School, a day training workshop was organized on 27^th September, 2023 at the school.

The Executive Director of 4-H Ghana, Mr Appiah Kwaku Boateng took the participants through the sustainable school feeding model program.

A representative from the Ghana Health Service, Mr Godbless De-Graft did a presentation on the importance of good nutrition to children and Mr Norbert Tettey from the Department of Agriculture spoke on agronomical practices for higher yield in crop production.

In all, a total number of eleven (11) committee members made up of nine (9) males and two (2) females who took part in the training were awarded certificates.
